British Airways Cabin Crew Requirements

  1. Be aged 18 or over
  2. Be between 5’2” (1.575m) and 6’1” (1.85m) tall, with weight in proportion to your height
  3. Have a vertical function reach of at least 2.01m (6’7)
  4. Have 3 GCSE’s at Grade C or above or the equivalent (excluding General Studies and Critical Thinking)
  5. Be fluent in written and spoken English
  6. Desirable in customer service experience
  7. Hold a valid passport (with a minimum of 12 months before expiry date) with unrestricted right to live and work in the UK and which allows unrestricted global travel.
  8. You must be able to acquire a US Visa
  9. To provide satisfactory references for the last 5 years and to undergo a Criminal Record Check
  10. Be able to obtain and keep an airside pass
  11. Be able to work shifts covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for the entire career
  12. Conduct stand-by duties close to your airport base
  13. Have no visible tattoos or body piercing
  14. Able to swim 50m (55 yards)

Cabin Crew

Working in a flight attendant role, cabin crew members provide exceptional customer service to and ensure safety and comfort for passengers throughout each flight.
